By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 505 dated September 22, 2026, new procedures have been established for reporting, investigating, and accounting for work-related accidents, as well as for compensating the damage caused to the employee.
Based on this resolution, the following important documents were approved: 🔹 Regulation "On the procedure for reporting, investigating, and accounting for work-related accidents"; 🔹 "Rules for compensating damage caused to the life or health of an employee due to work-related injury and (or) occupational disease".
The new procedures are aimed at improving the system of timely identification, reporting, objective investigation, and unified accounting of accidents that occur during the labor process.
The main innovation — digitalization of processes
Starting from December 1, 2026, reporting, investigating, and accounting for work-related accidents will be carried out through the AI-based electronic information system "Xavfsiz mehnat" (Safe Labor).
Through this system: ✅ the process of reporting accidents is converted to an electronic format; ✅ investigation and accounting processes are conducted on the basis of a unified system; ✅ data is generated in a single electronic database; ✅ opportunities for analysis and control over accidents are expanded.
Also, according to the resolution, the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment has been designated as the operator of the electronic information system "Xavfsiz mehnat".
The new procedures will serve to further improve the mechanisms for protecting the rights and interests of employees in the labor process, promptly registering accidents, and eliminating their consequences.
